Nicki Minaj Blows Off Mariah Carey Feud, Calls Out Barbara Walters

Nicki Minaj has claimed Barbara Walters as her new enemy in the industry after The View co-host was quick to take sides with Mariah Carey during the infamous American Idol feud.

During the second episode of “Nicki Minaj: My Truth,” the rap star revealed that she had a bone to pick with Barbara Walters and claimed that The View co-host didn’t want to take her side simply because she was black.

“Am I not good enough for you to get my side, cause I’m a little black girl that raps,” the rapper turned pop star questioned during the taping of her reality special.

The Young Money songstress is claiming that she isn’t so upset about Walters taking sides as she is that the journalist supposedly didn’t even try to figure out Nicki Nick’s side of the story.

“If I was J. Lo, you would’ve called J. Lo’s camp… You wasn’t even there when I was on the show, Barbara,” the bombshell rap star pointed out about when she appeared on The View only to realize that Barbara wasn’t there. “So I guess I’m not good enough, but I’m only good enough for you to tell people that I’m unpredictable when you don’t f**king know me!”

Her beef with the 83-year-old journalist has completely over shadowed her feud with Mariah Carey, especially since the claims she doesn’t even have a problem with Carey.

“Why would I wanna have a rift with someone I’ve looked up to my whole life,” the “Starships” rapper questioned during the three part reality special. “I’ve loved her and even told her that in the meeting. Actually I’m happy that Mariah’s on the panel because I think that’s a great thing. You’ve got one of the best singers that ever sang in the world.”

The 29-year-old made it clear that although she looked up to the “We Belong Together” singer, she still wasn’t going to deal with anyone disrespecting her.

“…The fact is that you had a problem with me being on there and that’s why there’s an issue,” she explained to the cameras.

As for Barbara on the other hand, Minaj didn’t have anything positive to say about her on Twitter.

“Barbara Walters didn’t reach out from our team barbz. I guess we’re too dangerous,” she tweeted. “Don’t shake if u don’t wanna get shook.”

After Nicki verbally attacked Mariah on set, it was reported that the R&B princess immediately called The View and told Walters that the “Pound the Alarm” rapper threatened to shoot her, and this is supposedly what has Lil Wayne’s mentee all fired up.

The “Masquerade” rapper claimed that her “jaw was just hanging open” when she discovered Nick Canon’s wife ran to the popular television host with what she claims is a blatant lie.

“I’ve never said anything regarding a gun,” the wig loving rapper said to the cameras, but she never said it’s because it wasn’t a thought. She never mentioned anything about a gun because the hard core female rapper claimed she’s “smarter than that.”

The irony in the entire situation, however, remains in the fact that part of the statement that has Nicki so upset in the first place is Barbara’s agreeing with the claim that she is “unpredictable,” and yet all the actions following the segment on the View have been nothing but unpredictable on Nicki’s part.

Instead of trying to prove them wrong by keeping level head, Lil Wayne’s mentee just gave both Walters and Carey another reason to say they were right all along.
