Who knew Donatella Versace was a fan of rap music? It turns out the designer has been secretly working with M.I.A. (remember her middle finger stunt during the Super Bowl performance with Madonna last year?) on a line for the Italian fashion brand.
During a talk with Spin magazine this weekend, M.I.A. revealed a few folders on her computer desktop with the help of a projector screen. The crowd learned that she has folders titled “Versace outlines,” “Versace prints,” and “bootleg Versace.”
So, what’s in those files? We don’t know yet but maybe we can take a few cues about her upcoming Versace line from her outfit that evening. Spin said she wore “a gold, D&G-lookin-ass, baroque-print Chelsea boot; a floral trouser; and a navy pajama top with a Peter Pan collar.”
