Breaking: Lil Wayne Suffers Second Mid-Flight Seizure

Rapper Lil Wayne has been released from a hospital in Louisiana after suffering a second mid-air medical complication in as many days.

The star’s representatives downplayed a reported emergency on Thursday, insisting dehydration and a severe migraine were to blame for the hitmaker’s mid-flight health scare, that prompted the pilot of his private plane to land in Texas – so Lil Wayne could seek medical help.

He was “successfully released from the hospital after being treated” and sent home to rest.

But on Friday, the rap star was back in hospital following another mid-air emergency – this time over Louisiana.

He was admitted to Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner, treated and released, according to TMZ.com.

Details of his illness and condition were not available at press time.

Previously reported:

Lil Wayne reportedly suffered from seizure-like symptoms during a flight on a private jet yesterday afternoon, forcing the plane to make an emergency landing at an undisclosed location in Texas.

Wayne was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for several hours before being released at about 6 p.m., according to TMZ. Weezy’s rep wouldn’t release any information about the incident, but a source told TMZ that Wayne is not “doing better.”
