Stacey Dash opted to leave her red Baywatch-esque swimsuit at home as she headed to the voting booth to cast her vote for Republican candidate Mitt Romney. The former “Clueless” star received severe criticism for voicing her decision to vote for Romney. The insults ranged from death threats to jokes poking at her alleged stupidity.
“You’re an unemployed black woman endorsing Mitt Romney. You’re voting against yourself thrice. You poor beautiful idiot,” said one tweet.
Undeterred, Dash is pressing on. She tweeted photos of herself wearing a blue tracksuit with a red bag on her arm inside a California voting booth.
One last person wanted to take yet another dig at Stacey Dash before the melee completely dies down. Actress Vivica A. Fox told The Grio about her reaction to Dash’s initial tweet, “I don’t know why she [Stacey Dash] had to do a photo shoot in a Baywatch red swimsuit with the boobs and the whole flag behind her. And she doesn’t have a job or something to promote right now. I just didn’t get it.
“She’s entitled to her own opinion but it was just surprising that first of all she was a Republican, and that she did it the way that she did. Most politicians when you support them, you try to support them with class, you don’t need to do a swimsuit shoot.”
At least Fox isn’t slamming Dash’s decision to vote for Romney. Two more weeks before this madness dies down.
