Young Jeezy Releases New Track, ‘Get Right’ – Listen

Leaving the recent BET Hip-Hop Awards beef with Rick Ross behind, Billboard reports that Young Jeezy is moving ahead with new music: the MC has released “Get Right,” a new track featuring production from Black Metaphor, on Thursday evening (Oct. 11).

“Call me Mel Gibson/Got a brave heart,” Jeezy sneers in the opening verse of his new trap anthem. “Get Right,” which takes aim at anyone who thinks the rapper fell off, is the banger that last year’s “TM103” was missing: Jeezy is not tentative here, and bowls over the hook with gleeful ad-libs.

Young Jeezy is reportedly hoping to release a new album and mixtape before the end of the year, after releasing his long-delayed “Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition” last December. Since that album release, Young Jeezy embarked on a Hustlerz Ambition tour, and was named the Senior Vice President of A&R at Atlantic Records…
