Some brand new set photos from The Wolverine has surfaced online today, featuring Hugh Jackman and Rila Fukushima. This comes just a week after production released an official photo of wolverine, brandishing his claws.
A month ago, a video also surfaced showing a glimpse of what the set looks like while shooting in Kurnell, Australia. Production is currently shooting in Tokyo, Japan and director James Mangold have enlisted action stars Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, and Brian Tee to join Jackman in the cast.
The Wolverine is based off the classic comic book entitled The Wolverine. Logan, the lone warrior, finds himself in Japan in a epic battle with samurais warriors who’s special steel tests the strength of Logan’s adamantium claws. This leads up to an epic battle between A mysterious figure from Logan’s past who changes his life forever.
The Wolverine will be hitting theaters on July 26, 2013. In the meantime enjoy the photos below:
