Chad “Ochocinco” Johsnon seems dedicated about getting his life together as he recently started taking yoga and hire the help life coach and former actress AJ Johnson.
Johnson is fresh off a divorce after head butting his ex wife Evelyn Lozada, and has added yoga classes in addition to his routine anger management classes.
After losing his wife and getting dropped from the Miami Dolphins all in the same year, Chad definitely needed some help finding some inner peace.
After bumping into the Clear Gardens Yoga Studio owner, the former NFL star decided that yoga was the way to go.
“He was so keen, he came to the studio after his meal to check it out, making a special stop even though he was on his way to the airport,” studio owner Selena Collins explained. “He told me, ‘I’ve never done yoga before, but I think it’s something I should do. I’ll definitely be back.’”
The studio owner went on to say that Chad was actually a pretty cool guy and he even stayed after to take a picture with Collins in the standard yoga tree position.
“With everything going on in his life at the moment, yoga would be a great way for him to find inner peace and the medication aspect would be beneficial too,” Collins added.
The 34-year-old former wide receiver also believed that yoga would be the best way for him to keep a level head from now on.
“I’m trying to find out how I can channel my anger when I’m in situations where I would pop off,” Johnson said.
Earlier this year Johnson’s abused wife turned to the OWN network to help her get her life together as she appeared on the premier episode of “Fix My Life” where she received advice from life coach Iyanla Vanzant.
Apparently Lozada’s ex liked the idea and went searching for his own life coach to help him get on the right track.
The six-time NFL Pro Bowler enlisted the help of former actress turned life coach AJ Johnson, who is most famously known for her role in the movie “Baby Boy.”
The two were seen dining together which sparked dating rumors at first before it was revealed that AJ had been hired by “Ochocinco” to help him improve his life.
“Working with the great @THEAJZONE on getting my life back in the right space mentally, got a long way to go… ‘Tear Down to Rebuild,’” Evelyn’s ex tweeted.
His new life coach returned the shout out by tweeting, “@ochocinco we have work 2 do but you fearlessly knowing is MAJOR! Thnk u 4 ur trust/honesty/openess! I’m proud of u already!xo.”
Hopefully these two ladies will be able to truly assist Chad in making a change for the best… and avoid getting headbutted in the process.
