Chris Brown has made even more headlines after releasing a video admitting that he is in love with both Karrueche Tran and Rihanna.
In the video, he confesses that he is love with both women as clips of moments with Tran and Rihanna were shown in a montage.
“I’m stressed out… when you share history with somebody, then you tend to fall in love with somebody else, it’s kinda difficult,” Brown said in the video. “Is there such thing as loving two people? I don’t know if that’s possible, but for me, I feel like that.”
According to sources, Brown made to video in order to “soften the blow” for Tran. The video came on the heels of a statement announcing the end of Brown’s and Tran’s relationship.
“I have decided to be single to focus on my career,” he said in a statement. “I love Karrueche very much, but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single, allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”
Judging by some of Tran’s recent tweets, she isn’t trying to hear it. “Wtf is going on? All I’m saying is.. You don’t mess with people’s genuine feelings. You just don’t! Life moves on.. So let’s all,” Tran wrote on her Twitter page.
According to sources close to Brown, breaking up with Tran gave him room to pursue Rihanna openly. “Chris really wants to be free to pursue Rihanna now that she wants him back,” a source told US Weekly. “They will be together, trust me. I always told you he’d go back to Rihanna in a heartbeat when she was ready.”
Another source claims the couple is thriving on the drama surrounding their reunion and doesn’t think anything good can come from them being back together. “Chris and Rihanna just love the drama. They know their fans don’t support them getting back together, and that it’s a terrible PR move since Chris was convicted of beating Rihanna,” a source told Radar Online. “However, this is what Chris and Rihanna thrive on. There are still major trust issues that Rihanna has with Chris, with good reason, he was hooking up with her while he was still dating Karrueche. Chris and Rihanna back together in any capacity is just a disaster in the making.”
This reunion has started a lot of buzz in the media and even Oprah Winfrey, who interviewed Rihanna for “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” had something to say.
“I think that if she is prepared to deal with that and is prepared to help him help himself then so be it,” Winfrey told Extra. “I have no judgment about it. That’s why I can sit there and have such a great time with her because I do all my interviews with no judgment whatsoever. If that’s how you choose to lead your life, that’s really okay.”
