Nicki Minaj has quite a temper and Mariah Carey got a taste of it.
American Idol stopped production on a day of auditions because of a shouting matching between Minaj and Carey. TMZ got their hands of a blurry video of the altercation showing Minaj pink wig and all screaming at Carey. Keith Urban look bewildered as he sat in the middle of them while Randy Jackson stood at the end of the table trying to mediate.
It is unclear when or how the fight started but in the video, the femcee was heard accusing the songbird patronizing her and referred to her as “your f*cking highness.”

Nicki: “And if you’ve got a f*cking problem, handle it. I told them I’m not f*cking putting up with your f*cking highness over there.”
Mariah: “Oh Why, why, why do I have a three year old sitting around me?”
Nicki: “I’m not sitting here for 20 million having her look down here repremanded everyday. No.”
Mariah: “I can’t see my kids because you decided to act like a little crazy bitch and go all around the stage.”
Nicki: “Go see them now, go. You’re boring as f*ck.”
According to a source on the set, Minaj also threatened Carey and allegedly told her “I’m gonna knock you out.” The fight stopped production for the rest of the day because producers wanted to give the two a chance to cool down.
There have been rumors of a feud between the two divas since it was announced that Minaj was in the running to join American Idol. Rumors swirled that Carey was mad Minaj was joining the cast because she was under the impression that she would only be the female judge. After Minaj was officially added as a judge, there were rumors that the two women were fighting less than 24 hours after auditions started. Fox had no comment about the incident and there has been no word from Minaj or Carey.
