The very funny trailer to Universal Pictures’ Identity Thief surfaced online today.
The film stars Jason Bateman as a successful businessman and Melissa McCarth as a skillful identity thief.
Diana, played by McCarthy, has made away with unlimited funds to live lavishly on the outskirts of Miami. The only problem is, she is using character Sandy Bigelow Patterson’s money to bankroll her affluent lifestyle. With only a week to capture the thief before he loses everything, the real Sandy Bigelow Patterson heads south to bring the identity thief who’s responsible to justice. As he tries to bring her back to Denver to clear his name, he finds out just how tough its going to be.
Horrible Boss director Seth Gordon heads Identity Thief, and on top of that, Jon Favreau, T.I. Harris, Geneses Rodriguez, Morris Chestnut, Amanda Peet, Robert Patrick, Eric Stonestreet and John Cho also co-stars.
Universal reports that Identity Thief will open in theaters February 8, 2013.
