Chris Brown recently tested positive for drugs, but that hurdle didn’t stop Rihanna’s public adoration or prayers for his court dates or girlfriend Karrueche Tran standing firmly by his side. *le sigh*
On Monday (Sept. 24) Brown appeared in court where reports from June’s community service in Virgina showed he tested positive for marijuana usage. In addition to lighting up, the judge also took issue with the amount of service hours actually served in Virgina and ordered Brown to complete the remainder of his community service in California where he currently resides. Aside from a stern warning, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg had no legal cause to charge Brown as mandatory drug testing was not apart of Brown’s probation conditions. Following the decision Brown’s girlfriend Karrueche tweeted, “GOD IS GOOD!”
Rihanna let nothing stop her from showing affection towards her former abuser when she tweeted, “Praying for you baby, my best wishes are with you today! Remember that whatever God does in our lives, it is WELL DONE!!! #1love” And if there was any doubt to whom she was referencing with that “Baby,” RihRih followed the tweet with, “@chrisbrown I’m praying for u and wishing u the best today!” O. Guessing Karrueche is content with the public humiliation girlfriend role. *shrug* I guess… Chris Brown replied tweeting a polite “Thank you.”
Brown’s probation hearing was scheduled for last week, but due to discrepancies about community service hours was moved so authorities could gather more information. He has already completed anger-management classes and a 52-week domestic violence education course, but the remaining 180 hours of community service isn’t going anywhere…at least not until his probation ends in August 2014.
