Six Georgians are among the nation’s richest people, with a certain fast-food mogul moving up the list, according to the annual Forbes 400 published Wednesday.

The richest among Georgia’s billionaires remains Anne Cox Chambers, the 92-year-old daughter of James M. Cox, the media mogul who built Cox Enterprises Inc. She ranks No. 32 in and has a current estimated net worth of $10.7 billion.

“Her net worth has dropped more than $1 billion since last year due to a decline in the value of public competitors, which are a proxy for Cox Enterprises,” Forbes noted.

Cox Chambers’ nephew James Kennedy, 64, ranks No. 61 with an estimated net worth of $5.4 billion. Forbes reported his net worth has dropped $600 million since last year “due to decline in the value of publicly traded competitors, which are a proxy for the value of Cox Enterprises.”

Chick-fil-A Inc. founder S. Truett Cathy, 91, ranks No. 89 with an estimated net worth of $4.2 billion. Last year, his net worth was estimated at $1.6 billion.
