Khloe Kardashian and husband Lamar Odom find themselves on opposite sides of the fence over their struggles to get pregnant.
Yesterday Khloe made an appearance on Good Morning America where she was joined on the show with her two sisters, Kourtney and Kim, when she admitted that she had no idea there were so many difficulties associated with trying to get pregnant, especially in her family.
“My mum has so many kids, and Kourtney pops them out like a PEZ dispenser, so you think it’s like, so easy,” said the 28-year-old Kardashian sister. “You realize it’s not as easy as you might think.”
One of the latest episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians even shows Khloe visiting a fertility clinic with Kim.
Khloe has been married to Lamar Odom about three years now and is eager to go ahead and start a family.But while the LA Clippers star is equally eager, he isn’t fond of it playing out for millions to watch.
According to a source, “Lamar has just had enough. He hates seeing Khloe cry, especially in front of millions of people. He is begging Khloe to stop filming her fertility visits,” a source told Hollywood Life. “It’s a private, delicate matter. Lamar has been saying this all along, but Kris keeps telling Khloe the opposite, that there is absolutely no harm in having her fertility visits televised. Plus she convinced Khloe that this would bring in huge ratings. Lamar thinks all the attention is stressing Khloe out and having a negative impact on them being able to have a baby. Lamar is adamant that NONE of this be caught on camera.”
The youngest of the Kardashian sisters will continue to undergo fertility treatments in hopes that it will put her one step closer to being a mother.
“It’s trial and error,” Khloe admitted. If these treatments don’t work she will simply move on to the next option until something finally does the trick.
Khloe also shared that being on television as she goes through this extremely personal process is a bitter sweet experience.
Despite the fact that there are many times where the reality star would like to have privacy during this time in her life, she said that she also feels like she is “helping a lot of people” who may be going through the same thing.
Until Khloe does finally get the opportunity to be a mother, she seems quite happy with her job as an aunt. Thursday the reality star tweeted a picture of her kissing her new niece Penelope.
