Jennifer Lopez – Gwyneth Paltrow was named the best dressed woman in the world thanks to a 2012 poll by People Magazine. What??? It appears the mags 42 million readers, editors and fashion bloggers are not fans of skintight leather dresses and pants courtesy of Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian. What won the readers over was Paltrow’s simple and clean style. Her stylist Elizabeth Saltzman told the mag, “She doesn’t do fringe. She has a uniform. It’s simple, not overdone.”
Still, it comes as a surprise to many who may consider Paltrow’s style to be a bit boring. Jennifer on the other hand knows how to balance classic and trendy styles and always, always has a great fit. Kim K. needs a little more help in this department especially when it comes to fit. Often seen in very tight leather pants and too tight dresses, the reality TV star has fallen victim to living up to the noise about her large derriere. It’s also highly unlikely she will do much better with help from her rapper turned designer boyfriend Kanye West who equally overindulges in leather.
Jennifer Lopez on the other hand gets it right…most of the times. Last night JLo was seen with boyfriend Casper Smart in New York City to catch the play ‘Evita.’ The former American Idol judge wore a long sleeved leather dress that fit like a glove.
Others on the best dressed list included Kate Middleton, Emma Stone and Diane Kruger. The Kardashian sisters also made it on the list as group.
