Kim Kardashian is probably used to getting everything she wants but one thing she will not be getting is a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The reality TV starlet told V Magazine that she hoped that she would be able to “love to break that mold” and get a spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. However, according a rep for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, that isn’t going to happen.
“Part of criteria in being honored is receiving awards such as Emmy’s, SAG Awards, Oscars etc. in the category of Television, Live Stage Performance or Motion Pictures,” the rep said of the qualifications. “They have to have a career in the business of acting for five years or more.”
Based on those criteria, Kardashian is obviously unqualified and according to that rep, she probably won’t be qualified for a while. “Can’t really say if reality stars will ever be eligible. Not on our radar right now.”
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce aren’t the only ones giving Kardashian the cold shoulder. According to the New York Daily News, Beyoncé kept her distance from Kardashian while they were watching their men Jay-Z and Kanye West perform during the Made in America concert. “They were on opposite sides of the stage,” a source said. “Beyoncé didn’t even acknowledge [Kardashian] was there until the concert was almost over.”
According to the source, the feeling was mutual. “[Kardashian] didn’t make any efforts to go speak to Beyoncé either,” the source continued. “[Kardashian] was talking to [her best friend] Jonathan, and Kanye was talking to Jay-Z and Beyoncé.”
Another source did say the two women ended up talking while in a dressing room and Kardashian complimented Jay-Z on his concert but nothing substantial happened. “(Kardashian) was talking to Jonathan, and Kanye was talking to Jay-Z and Beyoncé,” said the second source.
