Millennium Film has just released the first official trailer to their crime-thriller The Iceman.
Based on Anthony Bruno’s biography ‘The Iceman: The story of a cold blooded Killer,’ the film follows Richard Kuklinske, a loving husband and devoted father who is also a certified killer for the mafia.
Michael Shannon plays the mafia hired-gun, a man who murdered over 100 people throughout his career. Ordered to wack a female witness that he left at a crime scene, Kuklinske, firmly grounded on his principal never to kill women or children, choses to spare her life instead. That turns out to be an act that put his relationship with the Mafia on a downward spirals and ultimately may cost him everything. Ray Liotta, Chris Evans, James Franco, and Winona Ryder will co-star. Ariel Vromen directed the film and wrote it with Morgan Land.
The Iceman does not have an official release date as of yet, but the film will premiere next month at the Toronto International Film Festival. In the meantime, watch the trailer below:
