Kristen Stewart Is Still Snow White, THR Is Dead Wrong!

Yesterday, THR posted a story about Kristen Stewart being dropped by Universal for the sequel to Snow White And The Huntsman. Now today, the studio quickly deny THR claims and says that any reports that Stewart has been dropped are completely false.

The studio issued the statement via Co-Chairman Donna Langley saying, “We are extremely proud of Snow White and The Huntsmen and are exploring all options to continue the franchise.”

This story broke yesterday, when THR wrote that the studio was practically cleaning shop, not only getting rid of Stewart, but also screenwriter David Koepp. The THR took the opportunity to unfairly blame Stewart’s ejection on the very public affair she had with Snow White director Rupert Sanders.

The truth is, the studio planned from the beginning to launch two potential franchises. With the intent to have a Huntsman spin-off, much like Wolverine’s spin-off from X-men. A lot of talk has been emerging about the Huntsman spin-off due to Chris Hemsworth rising popularity, who also prove to be a bargain, with his $5 million price tag for the first installment.

THR hasn’t yet commented on the studio’s statement and has not removed their story from yesterday, which you can find right here.
