Basketball Wives co-stars Tami Roman and Royce Reed have both posted comments about their co-star Evelyn Lozada’s domestic violence case against her husband Chad Johnson (Ochocinco).
During the fourth season of Basketball Wives Tami and Evelyn put aside their differences and built what appeared to be a strong friendship. It’s not surprising then that Tami would send some words of wisdom to Ev.
“There will B times when U got 2laugh 2keep from crying & others where U gotta cry cuz ain’t shit funny. Either way LIFE keeps going & U have 2do the same. Stay strong, stay focused & STAY in prayer!”
Royce on the other hand never had a great relationship with her co-star but resented her followers implying she was having a good laugh over the unfortunate incident.
“FYI I don’t bask in another person’s misfortune. It’s sad people think I’m laughing or amused. I’m not. There’s nothing funny about it period! #Human.”
It will be interesting to see how this plays out going into the fifth season of Basketball Wives. Meanwhile HBO felt the need to televise Chad Johnson getting fired by head coach Joe Philpin on “Hard Knocks”.
“I don’t know if this is working for the benefit of you, me, the Miami Dolphins or anybody else. I think you are a good person and I acknowledge people make mistakes. […] Where we are as a program, and where we are headed, I just don’t see the mesh right now. I wish it was different and I could be more encouraging but I just think this is best for us to part ways at this time.”
Watch the clip the below. With Chad losing his job and several endorsement deals do you think Evelyn should also take a break from the limelight?
