Rihanna has returned to Barbados to enjoy Kadooment or Crop Over. The annual event began as a celebration “signaling the end of the yearly sugar cane harvest, it has since evolved into Barbados’ biggest national festival.”
Rihanna jumped on Twitter to post photos of she and best friend Melissa drinking, smoking and having a good time. But while 24-year old releases her inhibition and shares everyone moment on Twitter her former employer isn’t singing her praises. The new CEO to Nivea blasted the singer’s sometimes raunchy image.
“Rihanna is a no go. I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna. Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability.”
No matter. The “Rude Boy” singer is still winning doing what she does best…being a rebel. According to the singer’s Indonesia fan site her debut fragrance Rebelle is the fastest selling celebrity fragrance in the UK. In the wake of its dominance, Rebelle beat out Britney Spears’ Midnight Fantasy, Jennifer Lopez’ Glow, Beyonce’s Heat and even Victoria Beckham’s Intimately Beckham for Her. By the end of the year the fragrance is expected to sell a record-breaking 4 million units. Did we mention the fragrance was released just six months ago?!
