K. Michelle and Ryan Lochte dating rumors are creating quite the buzz. The rumors began with the Love & Hip Hop star tweeting pictures of she and the Olympian swimmer ‘Pooh’ just before he began his quest for gold.
K. Michelle put the rumors to rest through her rep, in video and tweets – just in case.
First the statement, “K. Michelle and Ryan Lochte are just great friends who support one another. Ryan and K. Michelle have known one another for some time, and their relationship is nothing more but wonderful and supporting friends in each other’s career.”
Then the tweet, “This is so out the blue and old news. I am single. I have friends and I support their endeavors! #carryon”
Meanwhile Ryan’s mother Ike was catching flack for telling reporters that her son only has time for one night stands.
“He goes out on one-night stands. He’s not able to give fully to a relationship because he’s always on the go.”
She was forced to clarify her statements on Friday,
“How innocent is that?” Ike said. “All I wanted to say is that he’s so sensitive about not wanting to hurt a girl dating, so he just goes and dates and takes out a girl for maybe one or two dates and doesn’t have a relationship because he doesn’t have (time) and it’s not fair to the women.
“I thought that was so sensitive, but then they turned it around. I’m not used to this. … What kind of mom is going to say that (about her son having one-night stands)? Especially being a mom and having two daughters.”
Ike will need to finish her crash course with the media soon because rumors are surfacing that Ryan may be heading to Hollywoood!
Reportedly the Olympic swimmer is being courted by actor Will Ferrell for a film and the CW for a project!
Maybe he can visit K. Michelle on the set of Love & Hip Hop while he’s at it…;-)
