Some images surfaced today of Tom Hanks and Halle Berry in Cloud Atlas. Andy and Lana Wachowske join Tom Tykwer in adapting and directing the muti-genra novel by David Mitchell.
Here are two images courtesy of Entertainment Weekly from the upcoming film that features Hanks and Berry as tribesman in a post-apocalyptic future. They are members of a technologically advanced civilization. Jim Broadbent and Ben Whishaw can be seen in the second photo playing a composer and young apprentice respectively.
The film consists of six stories that take the audience from the South Pacific in the nineteenth century to a distant post-apocalyptic future. Each character’s life is interwoven to complete a larger story by one main character.
The cast includes, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Susan Sarandon, Hugh Grant and Keith David.
20th Century Fox had set the release date for Cloud Atlas to October 26 this Fall.
