Yandy Smith of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop and boyfriend Mandeecees welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Harris who weighed in at 7lb 9oz.
The reality star confirmed the news on Twitter,
“My greatest accomplishment in life was my most difficult task in life. With god and my family we did it. I will forever remember this day 7/16/12/. It was written in cursive for this king to exist.”
Yandy’s Love and Hip Hop co-star Kimbella also tweeted,
“Long day.. Or journey I should say! Congrats to my Pud @yandysmith on her beautiful baby boy..She’s a trooper for delivering such a blessing”
In April Yandy couldn’t stop gushing over her expectations for her baby boy,
“I’m really excited to hold this baby. I can’t wait to see what all these kicks in my belly look like on the outside. I can’t wait to kiss him, smell him, play with his toes, sing him to sleep. And honestly I’ve spent so many years taking care of artist now I can take care of something that is all mine (well me and daddy’s). I hope he’s just like his dad with some of me mixed in there. Smart, confident, caring, compassionate, a leader and want to see what the combination of us looks like.”
We hope he’s everything and more! Meanwhile the reality star isn’t letting a small thing like giving birth keeping her from work – nope! Yandy is reportedly moving full speed ahead with a few more projects including expanding her Everything Girls Love line to include loungewear and a self-help book called ‘Hustlapreneur’.
