Michael Jackson’s former attorney, Brian Oxman, has had his attorney’s license revoked in Los Angeles.
Oxman will no longer be able to practice law in California after the California Supreme Court denied Oxman’s appeal of a state bar ruling. The state bar association had found that Oxman and his wife, who is his law partner, mixed clients’ and personal funds to evade creditors. Because Oxman had previously been disciplined, the state bar took the step of revoking his license.
Oxman was on the legal team that defended Michael Jackson against molestation charges, but he was dismissed in 2005. He later represented Michael’s father Joe Jackson and appeared on talk shows as a legal expert.
