Khloe Kardashian admitted during her sit down with Oprah Winfrey for OWN’s Next Chapter on Sunday that she puts enough stress on herself to make her marriage to Lamar Odom, 32, work than the pressure she allows from any outside source.
“I don’t feel the pressure by outsiders. I’m not someone who’s easily influenced by the public,” the reality star said. “This is my marriage, this is my real life. I feel pressure from me, from myself to be a great wife.”
Understanding the self-inflicted fishbowl by her on-camera lifestyle the 27-year-old professed how she avoids blogs and tabloid gossip surrounding her quickie marriage and its aftermath, but usually the information is brought to her attention by someone else.
Khloe married her NBA player husband in 2009 after dating for one month and have faced a series of challenges recently including Lamar being traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks last year; and then being quickly dropped from his new team which prompted the couple to end their E! reality series, Khloe & Lamar, to focus on starting a family.
The 27-year-old admits to putting additional pressure on her, especially as they begin fertility treatments to conceive their first child.
