Casper Smart Is Not Gay And Using Jennifer Lopez For Fame

Casper Smart continues to scratch heads as he cements his relationship with Jennifer Lopez complete with rumors of an engagement and pregnancy. The latest rumor against the once unknown choreographer, 25, and his the certified pop star, 42, is that he’s gay and using JLo to further his career. After ending her seven year marriage to Marc Anthony in July and two adorable children later, Jennifer began dating the young choreographer in November.

Joshua Lee Ayers, a professional dancer who reportedly knows Casper personally went on a Tweeting spree back in March,”LOL @jessyterrero check out Ur Gay Homie@caspersmart. Know as a low key homo in hollywood!!!” tweeted Joshua along with a photo of a shirtless Casper dressed in lame gold short.

Continuing his tweeting spree Joshua attempted to express sympathy for JLo, “Sorry. I Actually know casper smart personality. I do not support him and know he’s not a good person. Only if JLO knew…”

Despite Joshua’s conviction about Casper’s intentions for JLo he can’t seem to keep his story straight about where Casper is gay or not. Another tweet read,

“@JLevsperJLover U know casper USED/CHEATED on the Girlfriend who got him on the JLO gig right??He jus usin JLO 4 fame/success,” Ayers tweeted to a fan who posted a photo of Lopez and Smart together. “LMAO – jus sayin. If u really a JLO fan LOVER. U should know and be scared she us will a using , liar and cheat. :)”

Or perhaps Casper is willing to do whatever it takes to get on top! In a more recent tweet Joshua lost sympathy for JLo and began poking fun,

“I actually feel pretty bad for her. She has all the $ in the world and a miserable love life, 3 divorces, 2 kids and a gay BF lol.”

Despite beginning his campaign in March the couple’s rep Mark Young finally released a statement,

“Casper is not gay. These comment are born from envy and jealousy. It must be a slow news day.”

Meanwhile Jennifer and Casper are rocking out in Brazil and enjoying some beach time with the family. Focusing on the positive Casper retweeted this quote,

“God has perfect timing; never early, never late. It takes a little patience and faith, but it’s worth the wait.”

What do you think of this crazy Casper and Jlo rumor??

Still independent.

We hope this story was worth your time. For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed Black-owned and independently run. We didn't get here by waiting on ad budgets that were never built to prioritize us. Our readers did that.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin. Outlets like ours get roughly 1% of the $170 billion spent on U.S. advertising each year, and that margin is shrinking further as advertisers walk back the DEI-linked commitments they made in 2020. That's the backdrop. It's not why we're asking.

The wider picture isn't any steadier. Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under, it's rarely the ones built to center a Black perspective from the ground up that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
