Jeff Bradshaw, a former member of Jill Scott’s Fatback Taffy band, will join her Summer Block Party tour as a featured act. Bradshaw, known as “Mr. Trombone,” will perform records from his new solo album ‘Bone Appétit, Vol. 1 (Main Course).’ The musician said he appreciates the opportunity to work in conjunction with Jill Scott as a solo artist, insisting, “Jill Scott is an amazingly talented woman, her energy and love for what she does is inspiring.”
He continued, “I look forward to rocking the audience this time as a solo performer. I love to perform and I’m humbled to share with the audience my gift from God.”
Bradshaw, a Hidden Beach musician, reinvigorated records on his new album like “Umi Say,” and “Got Til Its Gone” with striking horn sections. The twenty track project includes several collaborations with guest vocalist from Raheem DeVaughn, Marsha Ambrosius, PJ Morton, Maysa Leak, Kindred the Family Soul and Natalie “The Floacist.”
