Chris Brown And Drake’s Fight Unfolding As Police Investigates

Chris Brown and Drake’s nonsensical fight at New York nightclub WIP Wednesday, involving flying bottles and a number of injured people, is unfolding as more information is coming to light as police investigates.

Drake took measures Thursday to absolve himself of any wrongdoing by issuing a statement that read: “Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began. [Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”

And though Meek Mill, a rapper a part of Drake’s entourage, didn’t release a statement, he has made certain that his denial of starting the melee with a bottle toss has been made known.

Brown, who is being treated as a “witness and a victim,” has given a statement to NYPD investigators about the uproar that left him with a nasty chin gash and his bodyguard, Big Pat, seriously injured with a head wound, according to TMZ.

While there are still many stories circulating from rappers Drake and Meek being the aggressors to Brown’s camp inciting Drake’s camp all night, what is likely to get to the unadulterated truth is the club’s video footage.

While some video has been released by We Mobbin DVD, its insignificant footage shows the “Strip” singer leaving the club and rapper Meek Mill’s separate exit from the club. However, that could be just enough to entice big bucks for release of the melee footage.

Here’s where the details get even more interesting.

The manager of WIP, Jonathan Cantor, was arrested Friday for a minor noise violation at another of his establishments and jailed for two outstanding warrants.

While the entourages of superstars Chris Brown and rapper Drake are being a bit cryptic about what took place, police may use Cantor’s legal problems as leverage to pry information about the bloody fracas.

Rumor has it that the boiling feud between Brown,23, and Drake, 25, was all because of songstress Rihanna who infamously dated the “With You” singer-performer and reportedly dated Drake after the two parted ways.

“It began after Drake, who arrived with a 15-member entourage, rejected a peace offering from Brown — a $2,000 bottle of Ace of Spades champagne,” reports nydailynews.com.

The rejection was accompanied by a nasty note, police sources said.

It read: “I’m still f—— Rihanna.”

Much is still unfolding as the police continue to dig. Stay tuned.
