First Look At Samuel L. Jackson As House Slave In 'Django Unchained'

Last week the first trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s slave movie Django Unchained dropped and we thought that might be it until it comes out in December. Nope! Today a new international trailer revealing more footage and more of the plot has hit the web.

Compare to the first trailer

In this new trailer Leonardo Dicaprio, who plays slave owner Calvin Candie, shows us that Candie buys and sells slaves to satisfy his blood thirst for prize fighting, while setting trained slaves to fight to the death.

There is one slave that escapes the wrath and punishment of his cruel master and that’s Stephen – played by Samuel L. Jackson. This new trailer gives a first look at how Jackson is going to look with full make-up on – quite different from how we’re used to seeing him. The dialogue between Candie and Stephen are said to be some of the movie’s most hilarious and thought provoking moments.

The new video reveals more of the controversial aspects of the film, something that didn’t make the domestic trailer before. Why?

Starring Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo Dicaprio, and Samuel L. Jackson, Django Unchained hits theaters Christmas Day.
