Michelle Obama Says She’d Trade Places with Beyonce

Michelle Obama got personal with People magazine, dishing out details on the one celebrity she’d trade places with, her fear of getting caught in a bikini, and some of the most intimate moments shared with husband, Barack Obama.

Michelle Obama admits she wouldn’t mind trading places with the pop culture queen, Beyonce. The first lady told People magazine that if she could be some one else, it would be a great singer.
Beyonce has also been gushing about Obama, penning an open letter to Michelle after the debate over Hilary Rosen’s controversial remarks on Ann Romney. The letter thanked Michelle Obama for all that she does and for being a role model to her daughter, Blue Ivy. Beyonce further described Obama as being humble, loving, and sincere.
Unfortunately, her growing relationship with Beyonce has done little for her own singing abilities, allowing the commander in chief to remain the vocalist of the white house.
Michelle Obama joked about Barack Obama’s widely-discussed desire to sing. She said the confident crooner loves to sing in the shower and even makes time to sing to the children. She goes as far as to state that it is sometimes difficult to get him to stop. “But it’s not a song. He’ll sing one line of something romantic or cute.”
The president makes time to show his wife daily affection, making sure to tuck Obama into bed on a nightly basis. “We have a ritual where he tucks me in… He’ll come and turn the lights out and give me a kiss and we’ll talk,” she said. “He’s like, ‘Ready to be tucked?’ I’m like, ‘Yes I am.'”
The power couple doesn’t spend much time by the pool, given Michelle Obama’s inability to swim. She’s no expert, and has no desire to show off her own physique: “That’s been my one goal: I don’t want to be caught dead in a bathing suit!”
The Obamas do take private walks with their pup Bo, updating each other on the happenings of their busy lives. Michelle Obama has been promoting American Grown, her new book about the White House Kitchen Garden.
