CBS might have hurt the hearts of all the Martin Lawrence fans out the there! The network has recently decided to drop the TV show that was slated to air starring the veteran comedian.
Lawrence was set to play the role of a widowed father of two teenagers who, after losing his job as a construction worker, decided to go to the police academy and become a cop at the age of 46.
CBS actually had given the comedy TV show the green light but decided to pull the plug. As of now, there hasn’t been any official word on why the network didn’t pursue the pilot.
