Beyonce and Rihanna are both known for their daring fashion choices, and Monday night at the Met Gala in New York was no different.
Rihanna struck gold wearing a black, skin-tight crocodile-inspired Tom Ford dress. Paired with Christian Louboutin pumps, Rihanna portrayed a vampy sexiness in the deep scoopback dress that accentuated her curves. Though Rihanna regularly shows skin, the Bajan singer chose the floor-length dress, baring minimal skin and accessorizing with talon-like black fingernails. Though her hair wasn’t quite pulled together, the artistry of the two messy buns still seemed to mesh well with her vampire-inspired look.
While Rihanna is usually the celeb that shows all of the skin, Beyonce showed just enough in a lacey, black-sequined Couture Givenchy gown. Arriving late to the red carpet, Beyonce was accompanied by none other than fashion icon Andre Leon Talley.
The People Magazine’s “Most Beautiful Woman of 2012” showed off her post-pregnancy body in the sheer dress, which bared just a hint of her bottom. The peacock-like train dazzled, accessorized with purple and black feathers. The singer wore a slick ponytail with minimal makeup.
What do you think of Rihanna and Beyonce’s look? Haute or not?
