Vivica A. Fox, Bill Bellamy, Keisha Knight Pulliam To Star In Upcoming TV Show

Allen’s Entertainment Studios is currently shooting a comedy pilot titled Mr. Box Office, an upcoming TV show which will star actor/comedian Bill Bellamy.

Written and created by Byron Allen and Scott Satin, Mr. Box Office is based on actor Marcus Jackson (Bellamy), who is one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood.  After the star gets into a physical confrontation with the paparazzi, he finds himself having to fulfill a long-term community service duty.  His new job assignment is to teach underprivileged high school kids in a rough South Central neighborhood.

The TV show will also star Vivica A. Fox, former NBA star/actor Rick Fox, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Saturday Night Live vet Tim Meadows, Jon Lovitz and Gary Busey.

Vivica Fox will play a cougar history teacher at the school and Rick Fox will play a gym teacher. Details for the other actors haven’t been announced as of yet.

Allen and Satin are executive producing with Bellamy, Barry Katz and Carolyn Folks.

The project is aiming to produce a minimum of 104 episodes over the next two years.  Mr. Box Office, which is slated to be shown on The CW Network, is hoping to get a prime-time spot for this fall.
