George Lopez is slated to host Fox’s new dating show Take Me Out.
The series is a fast-paced show which is based on 30 female contestants searching for a match. The single men who are on the show will try to make a good first impression. Every week, the women meet several bachelors who will attempt to win them over with their looks, personality, and sense of humor.
“I am thrilled to be hosting such an entertaining new series,” said Lopez. “Anything can happen on a show like Take Me Out, and I’m looking forward to the excitement.”
Lopez will be the connection between the female contestants and the men trying to win a chance to take them on a dream date. When the woman gets to her last couple of men, she will ask them one final question before choosing the winner.
“George’s amazing energy, spirit and incredible comedic timing make him the perfect host for Take Me Out,” said executive producer Jeff Apploff.
Take Me Out will premiere on June 7th at 8pm EST on Fox.
