Britney Spears: Inside Her $15 Million X Factor Deal

Britney Spears has reached a $15 million deal with Simon Cowell’s “X Factor” which details as the singer-performer receiving $13 million as a paneled judge and the other $2 million as a bonus for performing on the show.

“The fact that she’s one of the most talked about—not just pop stars, but people—in the world today means that you’ve got this star power. She’s still hot, she’s still having hit records, and she’s still controversial. There’s a reason for that,” Cowell said.

After weeks and weeks of speculation of who would replace last season’s ousted judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger and apparently heavy negotiations between Spears’ camp, who reportedly wanted a whopping $20 million for the gig, “X Factor” and the famous pop star have reached an agreement, it’s just not finalized.

The not-so-final decision has to go through the proper channels of obtaining the go-ahead from her father, Jamie Spears, who still serves as her conservator following her meltdown years ago.

“The decision of who will join Simon, Britney and L.A. is yet to be made. Simon really wanted Britney confirmed first. Once she signs, he can make the final preparations.”

The “Baby” singer isn’t pulling in the payout she anticipated, but will reign as the highest paid judge on reality television! Yep, stifling Jennifer Lopez’s fawned over $12 million deal with American Idol and Christina’s Aguilera’s $10 million for the competition-to-beat, “The Voice.” Not only is the mother-of-two, Jayden and Sean Preston, winning, but her soon-to-be short-of-a-signature judging opportunity will solidify a position for her fiancé, Jason Trawick.

According to E! News, Trawick will become a producer for the “X Factor” show. (Now, that’s what we call pull!)

“Jason is expected to be there every day Britney is on set. He is her rock and will help guide her through the process. He is the person she trusts the most.”

“X Factor” returns to Fox in September.
