The ladies of VH1’s Basketball Wives are building an impressive resume as they branch out from the popular reality TV show. While Evelyn Lozada has secured a book deal, Jennifer Williams’ expanding her cosmetics brand Lucid, Royce Reed exploring theater, Tami Roman, the veteran of the group, has landed her first film role.
Roman stars in ‘Life, Love, Soul’, a film by Allen West Enterprises that follows the life of a young man, Roosevelt Jackson, who unexpectedly loses his mother (Tami) and brother. He is then forced to live with a father he hasn’t known. The move follows the young man’s tumultuous journey to becoming a man while dealing with the lose of his mother. ‘Life, Love, Soul’ debut at New York’s Urbanworld Film Festival and will play in Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Los Angeles, New Jersey, New York and D.C theaters according to Vibe.com. The trailer looks quite promising.
