Nicki Minaj, MIA Confirm Super Bowl Performance With Madonna

Nicki Minaj has confirmed her performance with Madonna for the halftime show at the 2012 NFL Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis.

After dropping a clue in a Stupid Hoe lyric, Minaj confirmed the news with a tweet: “Super Bowl rehearsals w/the Queen 😉 —-> RT @HumbleNika: @NICKIMINAJ what does your agenda contain today Nic? :)”

Meanwhile Material Girl girl Madonna is drumming up some noise around the performance and her upcoming album MDNA with a few jabs at the expense of others.

Madonna ensured her performance will not be “naughty” or of the Janet Jackson entertainment variety—taking a not-so-coy jab at the infamous nipple incident.

“You don’t have to show nipples to be interesting. It doesn’t necessarily mean you’re cutting edge if you do, right?”

“I’m planning something super entertaining,”

While the pop icon has much to say, she is not dishing on who she intends to bring out to help with her halftime show. But according to sources, Cee Lo Green will be joining Madge to bring a different vibe to her classics. And last year’s performer Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am has told Capital FM that LMFAO will also be performing with the 53-year-old.

“I’m going to the Super Bowl this year to see my group LMFAO perform with Madonna,” Will.i.am told the U.K. music station.

Rumor also has it that M.I.A will also join the now confirmed Nicki Minaj to perform ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’, which will make it’s debut during ‘American Idol’ this Thursday night. The pair are featured as co-writers for the first single on Madonna’s forthcoming “M.D.N.A.”, due out March 26.

Will you catch Madonna and Nicki Minaj’s halftime show during Super Bowl?

UPDATE: MIA has also confirmed she will join Nicki Minaj and Madonna to perform ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ at halftime:

“Yes, I’m going to the Super Bowl… I’m gonna be performing with Madonna and Nicki Minaj… If you’re gonna go to the Super Bowl, you might as well go with America’s biggest female icons.”
