Heidi Klum and Seal are ending their marriage after nearly seven years. The news of the pending divorce as reported by TMZ, is shocking to say the least.
Heidi and Seal were locked in as one of the few celebrity couples that would stand the test of time. If the rumor is true, the former Victoria’s Secret supermodel will file for divorce next week in LA County Superior Court citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’
The couple is known for renewing their vows each year since their May 10th, 2005 wedding. Just last year the couple renewed their vows in Palm Beach, Heidi told Redbook after the experience, “It’s so special to us, something we love and something our children have gotten accustomed to. It’s like, ‘Hey, Mom and Dad love each other and they get married every year!'”
So what went wrong? Blame it on the seven year itch? It happened to Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony who announced their shocking divorce last year after 7 years of marriage.
According to research couples grow tired of their spouse and desire other options approaching or just after their first seven years of marriage. It’s hard to believe Heidi Klum and Seal who embodied the spirit of a sexy, rock and roll couple with four beautiful children would lose interest in each other. Just last July Heidi told Glamour magazine,
“He’s even hot when he’s sleeping. He’s a beautiful man. He’s kind, he’s a gentleman, and I watched him last night onstage, and he still rocks it. I’m like, ‘Yeah, that’s my man!'”
