UPDATE-Rihanna maybe smoking it up in Hawaii and tweeting sexy pictures but Chris Brown and his reps are busy trying to put out flames that he’s cheating on his longtime girlfriend Karrueche with Rihanna.
Just weeks after Chris Brown sent a cryptic tweet “Love U more than u know!”, Rihanna tweeted less than a minute later, “I’ll always love u #1LOVE,” the once-troubled duo are now being bombarded with rumors of secretly hooking up. No love tweets from Rihanna and Chris are safe.
Almost nearing the three-year mark of their infamous pre-Grammy altercation in 2009, sources are claiming Chris and RiRi have met on several occasions.
“They meet up very casually,” a source tells Us Magazine. “Rihanna comes to see him anytime she’s in L.A. They can’t get enough of each other. I don’t see it ending well.”
Brown, 22, and Rihanna’s, 23, split were manufactured after the court placed a mandatory restraining order on Brown as part of his sentence. The restraining order has been relaxed since February and now allows for contact.
As for the ‘Man Down’ singer, she’s remaining mum on the rumors while the “Deuces” singer rep made a statement.
“He and Rihanna are just friends. He’s not cheating.”
Maybe’s Karrueche Tran needed to get that on record?
Sadly the statement from Chris Brown’s rep will only quiet the rumors temporarily as we near the Grammy Awards next month. It will mark the first time Chris and Rihanna will be in the same venue. Rihanna is already scheduled to perform while Brown who’s returning for the first time since 2009 hopes to snag a spot.
