Kanye West unleashed over 70 tweets late Wednesday in a three hour Twitter rant disclosing topics he plan to tackle from a clothing line to his new design company.
Since West dropped his debut album “College Dropout” less than eight years ago, everything the rapping mogul does is on a grand scale. His latest list of goals he decided to disclose through Twitter are no different.
West tweeted he wants to: “to help simplify and aesthetically improve everything we see hear, touch, taste and feel,” and “dream of, create, advertise and produce products driven equally by emotional want and utilitarian need.. To marry our wants and needs.”
West, 34, plans to take “architects, graphic designers, directors, musicians, producers, A&R guys, writers, publicists, social media experts, actors, scientists, teachers, bankers, lawyers, video game designers, publishers, clothing designers, DJs, car designers, managers, app guys, tech guys and nutritionists under one umbrella with various divisions within his new design company, named Donda, bearing his late Mother’s name.”
“Donda will galvanize amazing thinkers and put them in a creative space to bounce their dreams and ideas.”
Not one to shy away from controversy (Taylor Swift anyone?), West invoked claims of picking up where Steve Jobs’ legacy left off. Wonder what the successors over at Apple think?
“We can collectively affect the world through design,” he tweeted. “We need to pick up where Steve Jobs left off.”
Kanye may be utilizing Social Media and Networks more to update us on his latest happenings. The controversial yet talented rapper also broke the news that he’s a free agent.
Time will tell if Kanye’s lofty goals will come to fruition or not. However, we must say his thoughts and projected plans are commendable.
