Will And Jada Pinkett Smith's Marriage Nearly Ruined Over Kids Careers

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith may not be joining the line up of shocking celebrity breakups in 2011, but they were pretty close! In late August the headlines read, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith called it quits! Several stories surfaced including Will storming out of the couple’s mansion after a heated discussion over an alleged affair with Jennifer Lopez’s estranged husband and Jada’s HawthoRNe co-star Marc Anthony. Both Jada and Marc were forced to release a statement via their respective reps denying the claims,

‘All the rumors regarding Marc Anthony and Jada are false. Completely untrue. As for [the reports of a split between] Will and Jada, I’m not commenting on their personal life.’

Marc stated:

‘We unequivocally deny this. Enough is enough. There are families involved, children involved, friendships involved. This is NOT true.’

Eventually news of a divorce died down but erupted once again earlier this month. This time, a source stated Will and Jada were already separated but kept up appearances for the sake of their children’s career. According to TMZ, the kids are the only true piece of that latest rumor. Will and Jada   are reportedly doing fine now however there was a breakdown in the marriage over the direction of their children’s career. Will wanted a full blown reach for the stars while Jada hoped to ease Jaden and Willow into stardom. In an excellent example of sticking together through thick and thin, the Smith’s ironed out the wrinkle and are back on good terms. *Crossing our fingers that the news doesn’t change next month.*
