Lindsay Lohan Playboy: Hugh Hefner Forced To Release Issue Early

UPDATE-Lindsay Lohan Playboy pictures were leaked on Friday and sent Playboy founder Hugh Hefner in a fury.   When the just cover was leaked on Thursday Lindsay Lohan instantly became the top search for the entire day..literally. Hefner didn’t make any statements about the leak but he previously offered his seal of approval of Lindsay’s pictures.

“The pictorial is absolutely fantastic and very tasteful, and will be accompanied by an interview that will let readers see another side of Lindsay.”

[It’s a] classic tribute inspired by the original Tom Kelly nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe.”

Apparently a hacker was eager to see just how Lindsay compared to Marilyn because Lindsay’s entire spread was leaked to Buzzfeed on Friday. Lohan was now twice thwarted in her attempts to release the pictures on Ellen DeGeneres talks show on December 15th before the release of the January/February issue. Hefner is now forced to counter with an early release…and he’s really surprisingly happy/pleased about it.

Hefner tweeted: “Because of the interest & the Internet leak, we’re releasing the Lindsay Lohan issue early.”

“Lindsay Lohan was the top search name on the Internet yesterday. Her issue goes on sale late next week. Hot. Hot. Hot.”

It’s unknown just how much Hefner will lose from the leak. It was reported that Lindsay received nearly $1m for the Playboy spread and thousands of extra copies were printed in anticipation of demand.
