Movie star Warren Beatty is set to make his big screen comeback in a yet untitled film about the reclusive Howard Hughes. Beatty wrote, is producing, and will star as Howard Hughes in the movie set during Hughes’ later life. The film will reportedly be set around a young woman who is first in a relationship with Hughes’ driver, but then becomes involved with Hughes himself.
To date, the only role cast is that of the young woman whom Felicity Jones will play. Jones has previously appeared in The Tempest and more recently Like Crazy. Speculation has it that either Justin Timberlake or Alden Ehrenreich will play the role of the driver. Other actors tentatively linked to the project include Alec Baldwin, Jack Nicholson, and Beatty’s wife Annette Benning.
The long-time Beatty project is tentatively scheduled to begin production sometime in 2012. At this time, it it unknown exactly when the film will be released to theaters
