Dakota Fanning’s Marc Jacobs’ ad for a perfume was deemed too sexy for the UK and has been banned by their authorities.
In the ad, the actress has a large bottle of Jacobs’ “Oh Lola!” perfume in her hand as she looks at the camera with a sexy pose.
“The length of her dress, her leg and position of the perfume bottle drew attention to her sexuality. Because of that, along with her appearance, we considered the ad could be seen to sexualize a child.”
The ad has been running since June in magazines all across the UK but after the Advertising Standards Authority’s ruling it can no longer appear in any UK publications.
