Update-Scarlett Johansson breaks her silence on the 2011 leaked photos and British singer Adele covers the December issue of Cosmopolitan.
In the December issue of Cosmopolitan, Adele talks about the inspiration behind one of her biggest hits ‘Rolling in the Deep’ and tells the magazine about her favorite singers,
“My favorite singers are Etta James and Aretha Franklin. If you were to look up the word singer in the dictionary you’d see their names. Not mine.”
You can get a copy of the issue from Cosmo today. Adele was forced to cancel the remaining dates on her tour. Rumors surfaced that Adele was suffering from throat cancer but her reps denied the claim.
“We would like to reiterate that Adele is to undergo surgery for a hemorrhaged vocal cord. All reports regarding any other condition are 100% false.”
Hopefully Adele will be back and ready in no time!
Scarlett Johansson appears to be taking things in stride as she opened up to Vanity Fair about her nude photos scandal. They were intended for her then husband actor, Ryan Reynolds.
Scarlett admitted she was not ashamed about the images even jokingly stated;
“I know my best angles. The naked pictures were sent to my husband. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not like I was shooting a porno. Although there’s nothing wrong with that either.”
You go girl! As Johansson continued to brush off claims that she should somehow feel embarrassed by the event, Christopher Carney, the hacker linked to releasing Johansson and countless other stars’ nude pictures, released an apology to CNN earlier this month.
“I deeply apologize. I know what I did was probably one of the worst invasions of privacy someone could experience.”
It appears Carney may need more than a good apology…he needs a good attorney; because if he’s convicted of all counts against, Chaney faces up to 121 years in federal prison!
Damn…bet it doesn’t seem as worth it now.
Johansson’s private photos hitting the web weren’t the only invasion suffered by the Hollywood starlet. Johansson, who filed for divorce from Reynolds in Dec. 2010, continued the interview by stating after a “very public separation”, she “really didn’t know what to do with herself.”
“It was such a strange time.”
She continued;
“It was difficult. I felt very uncomfortable.”
Scarlett Johansson also spoke about her friendships with other Hollywood big wigs including Woody Allen who she admittedly shared a similar tendency towards hypochondria.
Since her split from Reynolds, Johansson has been romantically linked to Sean Penn, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Justin Timberlake. I think it’s safe to say Scarlett has moved on from Ryan Reynolds….now how about deleting those photos…
