Update-Kim Kardashian divorce from Kris Humphries was surprise to only Kris Humphries. The Kardshian divorce was practically written in the stars. Kim K and Kris could not avoid the tabloids that plagued their union from day one. Just days after her wedding people were busy searching, ‘Are Kim and Kris still together?’ That’s a terrible sign for a union.
Alas, the couple, or should we say Kim K revealed the wedding was over. Ryan Seacrest, the maverick behind the Kardashian empire confirmed the news via twitter earlier today.
“Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning,” Tweets Ryan Seacrest. “I touched base with her.”
Kris Humphries revealed he was blindsided by the news and vows to do whatever it takes to “make it work”. “I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce … I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work,” Kris told TMZ.

Kim released her statement to E!,
“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”
Kim’s statement is very calculated, “things didn’t work out as planned.” Kim Kardshian’s wedding lasted only 72 days!! If she truly planned for forever, would she give up that quickly?!
Current reports imply that Kim K and Kris will leave with what they came in with. Kim asked the judge to block any request for spousal support from Kris and that they pay their own attorney fees. Maybe that’s why Kim attended so many events solo – so she won’t have to cut Kris in any of the money….and why she appeared solo on $1 million People magazine cover for their official wedding photo. We’re guessing Kris Jenner likely had a say in this……
