Update-Could this be true? Could Kim Kardashian’s wedding to free agent NBA player Kris Humphries all a sham?!
That’s right, the multimillion dollar wedding, the E! wedding special, even the incredibly short six month courtship could have all been a lie as evidence surfaces that Kim may have “shopped” around for several NBA potentials prior to selecting Kris.
According to Wetpaint.com, Kim was allegedly so eager to date an NBA player that she solicited E! TV to call different teams in order to play match maker for the reality star, diva. You heard right folks, members from E!’s television staff initially contacted the New York Knicks to ask if Italian Basketball star Danilo Gallinari would be interested in dating Kim but changed gears once he refused. A source confirmed the allegation by stating;
“They asked if he would be interested in dating her and being on a reality show.”
The source continued;
“Danilo said he would love to meet Kim but was not interested in dating her or being on a reality show. Even though E! explained it would be great for his career, Gallinari turned the offer down.”
No, don’t adjust your eyes. I said Gallinari not Humphries…yes…that means Kris was not Kim’s first choice as she essentially elicited E! TV to cold call various NBA athletes until one took the bait!
If this is true, then E! was fully aware that Kim’s elaborate display of matrimonial bliss may have in fact all been a scam to heighten her celebrity and fatten her wallet. This places E! in quite the predicament given they have already profited millions from advertising generated during Keeping up with the Kardashians and who can forget the spin off special, Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event.
This somewhat contradicts Kim’s claims that she met her future husband after attending a basketball game in New Jersey with a friend where she then informed her companion that she found Kris attractive…and well you know the rest.
Kim was often seen court side cheering and blowing kisses to a mysterious player during the 2010 basketball season where it appears Kris fell into a different net as Kim may have simply been slowly, stalking her prey.
Despite growing reports of a looming split, Kim Kardashian and Kris were all smiles on Saturday when they celebrated her 31st birthday in Las Vegas. If the rumors are false, hopefully Kim and Kris are considering setting aside some private time to make this marriage work! Side note: Reports are surfacing that Kourtney Kardashian is FINALLY planning her wedding!!
