Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony can be amicable in business. The estranged couple embarked on launching an American Idol-esque show for the South American community: ¡Q’Viva! The Chosen was born.
The American Idol judge Lopez and Latin crooner Anthony along with their XIX Entertainment partner Simon Fuller announced their network partners who carry their talent show.
Univision, Televisa and Caracol TV will air the Spanish version in the U.S, Mexico and Colombia. A total of 21 countries will broadcast the show.
“We are bringing together all the most powerful brands and networks throughout the Americas to broadcast ¡Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN in a unique collaboration where each country will programme the show simultaneously. It will be a powerful statement confirming the growing importance of Latin culture,” say Fuller.
The one-hour series is being shot in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
Marc Anthony, director-choreographer Jamie King (featured in the promotional ad) and Jennifer Lopez will shoot from October 2011 through January 2012.
Looks like JLo won’t have much time to tend to her love life.
