So Nicki Minajand Lady Gaga look alike enough to be mistaken as each other?? OK, so last month at the MTV VMAs we had very little mercy on Nicki’s get-up that was terribly over the top. And yes, her style mirrors Lady Gaga’s ‘look at me now’ command. But to actually look at the artists and mistake the two because of their wigs is beyond ridiculous.
Nicki attended Prabal Gurung’s Spring 2012 Collection during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City. Elle UK tweeted the below,
“We thought it was Gaga at Prabal, it was Nicki Minaj. Pink hair confusion #nyfw”
Nicki seemed to pay no mind as she tweeted after the show,
“Ok so the new Prabal Gurung collection is to die for. Just left his fashion show. Gagging. My lovely date John Demsey of MAC was adorable!”
Honestly, minus the over sized bow on her head – I like this look. The Gaga confusion seemed unnecessary – really Elle??
