Latina magazine spared no expense as they spiced up their 15th anniversary edition with a cover jam packed with Latin starlets including Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria, and Jessica Alba.
The October cover, which features a total of 15 influential Latin celebrities, also includes other notable stars such as Avatar actress Zoe Saldana, NBC Today Show’s Natalie Morales and reality TV star (and former MTV VJ) La La Vasquez Anthony.
Latina magazine focuses on the experiences of various stars including their Latin roots, rise to fame and how the two are managed in their chosen industries.

According to Latina, the dazzling cover shoot took nine months of planning, along with seven separate shoots, 100 red, designer dresses and more than $10 million dollars worth of designer jewelry.
Jessica Alba, who just gave birth to her second daughter Haven Garner, recently, tweeted;
“I did my first day of workout since I had the baby.”
However, none could be the wiser; because judging from the elegant, v-neck gown Alba wore as she graced the cover, that baby fat is melting away fairly nicely.

Alba, whose father is Mexican-American, also had no problem candidly discussing the role of Latin women in her life. When asked regarding their influences, she responded;
‘There are a lot of really strong, really cool, completely dynamic women that are Latina that young women can look up to.”
Jessica continued;
“I love that because I certainly didn’t have those role models when I was growing up and it’s nice that I’m part of this generation. So I feel very honored and blessed to be in such good company for sure.”

Last year when La La Vasquez was questioned regarding the authenticity of her Latin heritage, she released the following provocative statement;
“A lot of people don’t realize that I’m Latina which is fine. One thing about being Latina is that there isn’t one look that comes with the territory. I don’t expect people to know my cultural background just by glancing at me. I do, however, expect that when I tell people my family is from Puerto Rico, that I will be believed and not accused of trying to be something that I’m not.”
Nonetheless, LaLa appeared to fit in just fine as she rounded out fellow Latina celebrities in a stylish, form-fitted gown with a silver, swoosh accent.
