Grammy award winning artist Lauryn Hill gave birth to her sixth child on Saturday(7.23.11); however Lauryn, who already has five children with Rohan Marley has yet to confirm the identity of the father.
Rohan not only denied himself as the father, but is also rumored to have abandoned Hill during her sixth pregnancy for Brazilian model Isabeli Fontana. Rohan, who dated Lauryn for over 10 years (yet never officially married), explained that he had been separated from the singer for quite some time.
According to MSN, when Rohan was asked to confirm the relationship via email he responded;
“I didn’t dump Ms. Hill for anyone, we’ve been apart for some time now. If people really knew, I’ve been dating a woman the past year prior to Isabeli.”
Rohan continued the email by dismissing rumors that he was the father of Lauryn’s new son.
“I’ve never heard of those rumors, I wish that people wouldn’t spread them.”
He continued, “I want to give Ms. Hill her right to disclose about her newborn son. I don’t think it’s my place to speak on her personal life if it’s not regarding our five children.”

If this was not enough for the reclusive songstress to juggle, it appears she is now being sued by a former guitarist who claims he was not paid for a 2007 performance.
According to TMZ, guitarist Jay Gore claims he was to be paid $3,590 for a series of shows in 2007. Gore claims that not only has he yet to be paid; but attempts to reach Ms. Hill have been in vein given that none of his calls are being returned.
Well hopefully Lauryn Hill will find a way to work past her personal and legal drama in order to focus on what’s most important to her at this moment; enjoying her new born and continuing to love and support her family.
